Comedy show on tap Saturday in Pequot Lakes

Jerry Frasier will bring his fast, fun comedy/magic to the stage of the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

Inspired by the energy of Broadway in the early 1980s, Frasier honed his performance skills and interactive style on the East Coast. He turned into a full-time comedian/magician in 1989.

His style of theatrical stage movement, comedy improvisation and acting skills developed at Hofstra University in New York equipped Frasier to become an actor, director and teacher. He developed a passion for the artistic creativity and the positive impact the arts has on people.

“There is nothing quite like a live, real-time, shared experience to bring people together, to encourage and empower the creativity and ingenuity in others,” he said.

This is the third show in the 2012-13 Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts season. Tickets for the show may be reserved by calling the Pequot Lakes Community Education office at 218-568-9200.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (age 60 and over) and $8 for youth (age 18 and under).

Tickets will be sold at the door starting one hour before the show as well.
