Hear about the booze connection between Breezy Point and Chicago and stories of visiting criminals like Alvin Karpis, Dillinger, the Barkers, Homer Vanmeter and others. Learn about the Great Brainerd Bank Robbery of the 1930.

Presenter Alan Bohme lived in Chicago and taught chemistry and physics in the Chicago Public Schools for 34 years. He moved to Minnesota in 1997 where he is a substitute teacher. He loves to study the history of people’s motives and their actions rather than dates and places.
