I'm sure you know the tall tale of Paul Bunyan. Big guy, impressive beard and a pet ox named Babe.

Well, if you've ever vacationed in the Brainerd lakes area, then you've had the pleasure of meeting him in person. What you probably didn't know is that a handful of newlyweds make the trip every summer to get a blessing from the other "big guy."

According to Lois, a spokesperson for Paul Bunyan Land, "Paul has been witness to many engagement proposals and has been the topic of many a wedding photo. The park is always happy to accommodate."

We, the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Foust, are no different than the visitors of the past. With their dear childhood memories in mind, the happy couple will stop by from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, July 19, to share their special day with their old buddy Paul, saying "hi" to Babe and perhaps going on a very mysterious mine ride with the entire wedding party in tow.

Jacqueline Einfeldt is a Minnesota native. Her family has been vacationing in Brainerd since she was a little girl. She met her soon-to-be husband, Jason Foust, while living in St. Croix. They currently live in Orlando, Florida.

Because of all of the wonderful memories and its unique and beautiful atmosphere, Jacqueline and Jason decided to have their wedding in Minnesota. Please feel free to visit Paul Bunyan Land on July 19 to witness a true Minnesota love story.
