Salon to host Cut-A-Thon to raise funds to fight Alzheimer's
The Deborah Schey Salon north of Brainerd will hold its annual Cut a Thon for Team Wachholz and the Walk to End Alzheimer's on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
Bailey Wachholz is the team captain and has been heavily involved with the walk since 2009, when her father, Duane, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
Brenda Conley, the regional director for the Alzheimer's Association Minnesota North Dakota chapter, will be on hand to offer support and information regarding dementia.
One hundred percent of donations at the cut a thon will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association. Stylists are Deborah Schey, Chuck Olson and Pam Wachholz. Receptionist is Bailey Wachholz.
