Pequot Lakes Pet Pageant, Parade set June 14


The fifth annual Pequot Lakes Pet Pageant & Parade will be Saturday, June 14, in downtown Pequot Lakes.

This free event is open to pooches, ponies, pigs, pigeons, parrots and any other type of pet.

Registration will be at 10:30 a.m. at Pequot Lakes High School. The parade will start at 11 a.m., going down Front Street and the west side of Highway 371.

Trophies will be awarded for Best of Show, Most Unusual Pet, Pet/Owner Look-a-Like, Best Costume and Best Trick.
