School administrators, staff, school board members and community members threw a retirement party and open house June 3 for Jim Oraskovich, who is retiring as Pequot Lakes superintendent.

Flecia Foster and Teresa Parker, three-sport athletes for Pequot Lakes, will take part in the state Class 1A track and field meet in Blaine, Foster in triple jump and Parker in high jump.
