Governor’s surgery went well
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton's hip surgery at Mayo Clinic went well.
“He's resting comfortably,” Dayton Press Secretary Matt Swenson said Monday.
The surgery was to reattach a tendon to his hip.
Dayton is to remain at Mayo a couple more days, then wear a hip brace for three months. The 67-year-old governor is expected to mostly work at home for a few weeks.
