Fishers have expanded their range south and many people have seen them in areas where they have not seen them before. Pine martens are still generally found north of the Brainerd lakes area.

Erb has been studying these animals including a research area at Camp Ripley and Central Lakes College has been a partner in this research.

This program is sponsored by the Brainerd Lakes Area Audubon Society and the Northland Arboretum. The program is free and open to anyone with an interest in nature. Refreshments will be provided.

For more information, contact Pam Perry at pkperry@brainerd.net or the Northland Arboretum at arboretum@brainerd.net.
