The Breezy Point Figure Skating Club hosted “Christmas Stories on Ice” on Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Breezy Point Ice Arena.

The skating exhibition featured 40 skaters ages 3-17 and had a holiday theme that included skating performances of “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman” and several other holiday favorites.

The exhibition concluded with a surprise visit from the Grinch, who was not allowed to the ruin these skaters’ fun thanks to Cindy Lou Who.

The exhibition concluded the fall Learn to Skate class and gave the skaters an opportunity to demonstrate their skills to the public.

The Breezy Point Figure Skating Club will perform an exhibition and conduct ice skating lessons at Ice Fest on Saturday, Jan. 4, in Breezy Point. The winter Learn to Skate session will run at 6:30 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 5-April 6.
