Benefit planned Sept. 28 in Jenkins for Berry family

A benefit picnic lunch for Sara and Merle Berry will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Jenkins VFW.

Sara, the daughter of Roger and Debbie Martin, is on dialysis again awaiting a second kidney transplant.

Proceeds from the benefit will help with medical costs and other expenses.

Jr’s No. 19 BBQ Co. will provide food for the benefit. Who Knows Music will provide music. There also will be raffles, bake sale, silent auction and craft sales.

A freewill offering will be taken for the picnic lunch.
