The Black Bear 4-H Club traveled to Little Falls on Tuesday, July 17, to join other youth and adults at the Party With a Purpose event at the Sprout Grower and Maker's Marketplace

building.

The parties are funded through a grant awarded to the Region Five Development Commission by ArtPlace America's National Creative Placemaking Fund. The parties are designed to use food as a cultivator for community and conversation.

A variety of native foods were available and Native American 4-H members from White Earth shared their culture through dance performances and by answering questions from the audience.

Money raised through this Party With a Purpose event will be used to support the Crow Wing County 4-H Program.
