Bazaars, craft shows and bake sales planned for lakes area

For those looking to get an early start on holiday shopping, get a bite to eat, or just take home some baked goods, this coming weekend offers plenty of options.

The list isn't exhaustive, as there may be more specials, business offerings, as well as church-sponsored events and events hosted by nonprofits.

Spirit of Christmas bazaar planned

CROSBY—The Spirit of Christmas bazaar will be 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 Fourth St. SW, Crosby.

There will be crafts ranging from furniture to photography, and wearables, fresh wreaths to handmade cards and paintings. Lefse will also be available. There will be personalized ornaments, ample amounts of baked and canned goods and confections. The store

for "Kids Only" will welcome little ones up to age 12.

St. Francis Church to host annual bazaar

St. Francis Church, 404 Ninth St. N., Brainerd, will have its annual bazaar from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

There will be caramel rolls for $1 8:30-10 a.m. A soup and pie luncheon will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be hot dogs and chips, crafts, a bake sale, pick-a-prize raffle and Granny's Attic.

Holiday arts and craft festival planned

The holiday arts and craft festival will be 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St., Brainerd. Use north or south doors.

The event is sponsored by Brainerd Community Education.

Trinity to have annual fall boutique and bake sale

Trinity Lutheran Church, 1420 S. Sixth St., Brainerd, will have its annual fall boutique and bake sale 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

The fall boutique will feature "You Betcha Corner," Granny's Pantry, Cabin Fever, Holiday Inspirations, Attic Treasures and a bake sale with lefse and Scandinavian goodies.

Caramel rolls and beverages will be served throughout the sale with a soup luncheon 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Doug's Trinity Cafe.

Holiday festival planned at Franklin Arts Center

A holiday festival will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood St., Brainerd.

There will be Minnesota artisans, gifts, food items, artwork, crafts, music, dancing, door prizes and more.

Holiday craft show and bake sale set for Saturday

A holiday craft show and bake sale will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at The Center, 803 Kingwood St., Brainerd.

Lunch will be available to purchase 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vendor and craft show set at Westgate Mall

There will be a vendor and craft show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Westgate Mall, 14136 Baxter Drive, Baxter.

Kringle Market set

The Crossing Arts Alliance, a nonprofit arts organization at 711 Laurel St., Brainerd, opens its holiday Kringle Market 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

More than 75 local artists will have work for sale in the Kringle Market. Patrons will find a wide selection of art and fine craft including pottery, blown glass, fiber work, paintings, jewelry, woodwork, and more, geared towards gift-giving.

Complimentary treats and cider and live musical entertainment will be provided.

The market will run through Dec. 22, Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A special members-only preview event for Crossing Arts members will take place 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9. Memberships start at $35 and may be purchased at the door the night of the event.

Craft and bake sale planned in Nisswa

NISSWA—The Care & Share ministry of Christ Community Church in Nisswa will have a craft and bake sale 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 17.

There will be baked goods, handmade items and holiday treats. Raffle tickets for a handmade quilt will be sold for $5 each or five for $20 and the drawing will be during the worship service on Nov. 18. Need not be present to win.

If interested in purchasing a raffle ticket for the quilt, talk to someone with the Care & Share ministry or stop in at the church office, 24646 Hazelwood Drive, Nisswa.

Craft sale and cookie walk planned

Park United Methodist Church will have a craft sale and cookie walk 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17, at 315 N. Sixth St., Brainerd.

There will be crafts, cookies and goodies and a chicken salad sandwich lunch for $5.
